Adidas Rivalry Concept

RIVALRY: “READY FOR ANYTHING”

My design concept is based on the legacy of Adidas Rivalry, taking inspiration from how it became an instant hit in the court, concrete, and culture. The iconic shoes originally started on the basketball court, but it’s ready to break down and go beyond barriers. The pair of trainers that is ready for anything.

In addition to this concept, I’m also inspired by my journey as a female artist breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. I’m not given the same chance for my work to be seen and bought; my opportunities for advancement and success are hindered by gender bias. But this uphill battle is worth the effort because it allows me to find my voice and expand the possibilities.
