I'm Valerie Villaflor, a multitalented creative and the Regional Senior Art Director at Publicis Groupe's PG ONE. I'm also an illustrator and toy designer who loves blending my illustrations and designs into my advertising work. With over a decade of experience, I've been elevating brand stories and honing my craft.

My journey started in Manila, took a detour through Singapore, and eventually landed me at Publicis Groupe's PG ONE Singapore. I graduated cum laude with a degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Visual Communication, from the University of the Philippines. My work has even been recognized at major award shows like D&AD, Spikes, AdFest, AdStars, New York Festivals, and the Webby Awards. In 2023, I had the honor of serving as a jury member for the One Club ADC Annual Awards in the illustration category.

With over 12 years of experience, I've worked with an array of brands—from baby food and diapers to juices, milk, soda, personal care products, hair care, laundry detergents, malls, airlines, and fashion brands. You name it, I've probably handled it!

When I'm not working on ads, you'll find me indulging in my passions for illustration, toy making, and painting on everything from canvas to art toys, clothes, and even sneakers. I've illustrated children's books and collaborated on various brand projects. My Filipino heritage plays a huge role in my art, inspiring me to create bold, symmetrical works with vibrant colors. I've showcased my paintings and art toys at international art shows, including Singapore Comic Con 2023, and in cities like Manila, Singapore, Macau, Hong Kong, and New York.

My goal? To keep merging visual design artistry with the strategic needs of advertising, crafting stories around my colorful chaos.
